Since 2011, Subauftrag has been the interface between the client and subcontractor.

2011-2013: Founding & entry into the Austrian market

The Subauftrag brand was founded in 2011 in response to the shortage of skilled workers in the construction industry. Just one year later, we were able to successfully implement the first major project with our partners and conquer the Austrian market.

2015-2017: Market entry in Germany and Great Britain

Due to high demand, we are expanding our service to the German and English markets. This enabled us to successfully expand our international portfolio.

2018 - Today: Expansion of markets and partnerships with subcontractors

In the particularly successful year of 2018, we were able to record a doubling of sales by 100%. We successfully completed a project with our 1000th customer in 2019. In 2021 we secured our 50th major project and started entering the Netherlands market.

Our brokerage activities as a protective shield for customers and subcontractors

From our headquarters in Klagenfurt, Carinthia, we broker 250+ projects every year.

Hotel StarInn

With now 16 hotels in Germany, Austria and Hungary, the hotel chain is well represented in the 3-star superior range. We supported the construction of the new hotel in Heidelberg with TIG welders.

Power plant Jänschwalde

In 2019, our industrial teams are supporting the Jänschwalde brown coal power plant in Brandenburg with welding and locksmith work as well as repairs to coal dust pipes.

BMW Spartanburg

More than half of all BMWs sold in the USA are produced at the BMW Group’s largest plant in the world in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Our teams support you in setting up the conveyor technology.

WILMA Freiraum

In Düsseldorf, WILMA built a 3.8 hectare residential area on a derelict industrial site. One of our SHK teams provided support with the installation of heating and sanitary systems.
